The Leonard and Syril Rubin Early Childhood Center at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is looking to hire creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated early childhood assistant teachers for our Infant room to create a loving, nurturing, and safe learning environment for our youngest students and their families. Our school is open year-round, and is comprised of 20 plus classrooms with students ranging from three months old through five years old.

Substitute teachers are expected to perform various responsibilities to provide assistance to the teacher and continuity for the students.

 We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Welcome Desk Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our desks and babysitting services. 

The babysitter is responsible for the care, supervision and feeding of children aged 3 months to 6 years of age. They will be engaging and overseeing the safety of children and using supplies provided by the JCC. The babysitter to child ratio will be maximum 2:8 with up to 3 strollers.

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, energetic, and adaptable person to work with senior adults in our day program and assist staff as needed in a dynamic environment. 

We are seeking a Part-Time Driver who will operate minibuses and vans (No CDL Required) and is responsible for the safety and supervision of senior adults while transporting them to a social day program. 

The JCC Thurnauer School of Music is New Jersey’s largest community music school and has been named a Major Arts Institution by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

We invite applications for an experienced early childhood music teacher to teach weekly on Sundays.

The Thurnauer School of Music uses the Musikgarten curriculum. You do not need to be a licensed Musikgarten teacher. Teachers are given paid professional development in Musikgarten content and pedagogy to achieve their license over the course of the year. All professional development is online.
