Adult Day Program Direct Care Staff

Camp Katan Counselor
The Leonard and Syril Rubin Nursery School at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is looking to creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated early childhood Educators and Assistant Educators to create a loving, nurturing, and safe learning environment for our Camp Katan aged children and their families. Camp Katan is a half day transitional summer program that helps our incoming 2 year olds make a smooth adjustment into our school.
Camp Havarim Head Teacher
Camp Haverim is a two-week camp for children and teens with autism and other cognitive and developmental delays, who attend 11 months of special schooling.
The Choral Manager will provide administrative and artistic support for an expanding choral program and to act as a partnership liaison between the Thurnauer School of Music and the Englewood Public School District.
Driver with CDL
Under the supervision of the Department Supervisor, will operate a bus carrying up to 18 passengers while maintaining safe and on-time transportation throughout Bergen County.
Early Childhood Program Supervisor
The Program Supervisor works in partnership with the Early Childhood Director, Operations Director, and other Program Supervisors to oversee all aspects of school operations including classroom and curriculum development, staff supervision and administrative tasks. Our school is comprised of 20+ classrooms with students ranging from 3 months-5 years.
Early Childhood Toddler Room Assistant Teacher
The Leonard and Syril Rubin Nursery School at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is looking to creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated early childhood assistant teachers to create a loving, nurturing, and safe learning environment for our Toddler aged children and their families. Our Toddler room assistants must have the qualifications, dispositions, knowledge, dedication to learning, and professional commitment necessary to support children and their families through their experiences at our school.

Our teachers have the qualifications, dispositions, knowledge, dedication to learning, and professional commitment necessary to support children and their families through their experiences at our school.
Early Childhood Center Substitute Teacher
The Leonard and Syril Rubin Early Childhood Center at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is looking to hire warm, passionate, friendly, and energetic substitute teachers for our teaching team. Substitute teachers are expected to perform various responsibilities to provide assistance to the teacher and continuity for the students.
The Grant Writer is a full-time position that reports directly to the Director of Development. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing and coordinating the grant application process and management of proposals with a particular focus on fundraising for our renowned Thurnauer School of Music. Working in concert with the Director of Development and TSM Founding Director, the Grant Writer will work to support and expand the Music School’s general operations, scholarship fund, and Music Discovery Partnership program with local school districts.
Individual Giving Manager
The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for development, implementation and assessment of a robust, integrated annual giving program that supports the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades’ mission, with an emphasis on engagement for annual donors ranging from $1,800 to $100,000.
The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is looking for qualified lifeguards and swim instructors to join our team.
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Associate will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs in a large community center which includes a Fitness Center, Multiple swimming pools, an Early Childhood Center, Senior Center, Special Needs Center and Performing Arts, Dance and Music Conservatory.
The Marketing Manager creates and develops marketing materials for print and electronic distribution, develops and maintains the organization’s website and digital media, writes communications for internal and external audiences including press releases and talking points, attends events, assists with content writing, and helps the organization execute its social media strategy.
The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is seeking a spa massage therapist. This position primarily works with members by delivering high-quality massage services.
Membership Sales & Service Associate
The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is seeking a highly motivated membership sales and service associate to help the JCC achieve aggressive membership goals. The Membership Associate is the first point of contact for all members and prospective members.
Music Facilities and Equipment Manager
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of the JCC Thurnauer School of Music, the Facilities and Equipment Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Ensure that rooms and needed setups are reserved for all weekly classroom and private instruction for the school’s 400+ students and 60+ teachers, staff and committee meetings, and the more than 60 annual student and professional performances
- Oversee the maintenance, repair and inventory of musical equipment, including pianos, drums, keyboards, music stands
- Manage maintenance and repair of office equipment and supplies including white boards, office supplies, sheet music, tables, chairs and photocopier

Pilates Reformer Instructor
The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is seeking a certified, knowledgeable, charismatic, and highly motivated and Pilates instructor (instructor) to join our fitness family. Under the direct supervision of the Group Exercise Director, the instructors will create custom sessions and programs for clients to help meet individual goals.
Reception Team Member
As a member of the Experience Team, a Reception Team Members’ goal is to facilitate an exceptional experience for the JCC Community. Rooted in our values of Kindness, Positivity, Respect, and Wellness, the Reception Team Member will bring these values to life through each guest interaction and by completing their job responsibilities with enthusiasm and a dedication to excellence.
Trainer On Duty
The Trainer on Duty (TOD) plays an essential role in assisting members of the JCC through their fitness journeys by offering support and educating on the safe and correct use of cardio and weight training equipment.
