Teen Fellowship Program

A New Kind of Leadership. For a New Kind of Leader.

Teen Fellowship Program

The Teen Fellowship Program isn’t just another course; it’s your launchpad. Designed for teens in high school ready to step up, stand out, and spark change, this experience goes way beyond the classroom. Get ready for hands-on workshops, real talk with inspiring mentors, and a crew of peers who want to make an impact just like you. You’ll build confidence, leadership skills, and connections that last long after the program ends. Ready to lead your way? Let’s go.

Duration: October 2026 – November 2026
Program Fee:  $290/Members  $360/Guests
Age: High School Teens
Time: 6:00 PM-8:00 PM

Upon completing the program, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their achievement and newly acquired skills.

The teen fellowship program, above all else, has taught me to appreciate the things that I have been blessed with, and to be able to give back to others whatever I can, and to the best of my ability. The program, and Rich especially, gave me boosts to do things that, had I not been prompted, probably never would’ve gotten around to (like calling my brother and telling him I love him and he inspires me every day??? Who am I now??)

The Teen Fellowship program is the intersection between hands-on activities and important lessons. I have learned so many meaningful things that I will keep with me throughout my life.

Jack A

The Teen Fellowship program has taught me how to give back to my community and take initiative to make things happen. I’ve learned so much throughout this program and will carry the skills it has taught me to college. Being able to walk into a room with new people you’ve never met before and create fundraisers and events is such an undervalued skill that can really make great things happen.

Guy O

The Teen Fellowship Program was meaningful to me because I got to think and talk about topics that I don’t usually consider. I also enjoyed the opportunity to connect with different people in the community who also take pride in being a leader.

Sophie H

Teen Fellowship has helped me become more confident as a leader and become better at connecting with people. Since I’ve been part of the JCC community for so long, the program made me feel even more connected to the community and gave me experiences and skills I won’t forget.

Daniel H

The Teen Fellowship Program has been an amazing experience for me. I have learned a lot about working with others and making that work valuable. I love that I have been able to meet so many people from this program that I wouldn’t have met otherwise!

Chloe G

The Teen Fellowship Program taught me so much about leadership and taking charge of my own life, and over the two years I participated, it showed me that I am capable of so much more than I ever believed possible. While also showing me the power of community and how much we can accomplish when we support one another, the program gave me the confidence to show up not just for myself, but for the people around me.

Emi D

The Teen Fellowship Program has been a place where I’ve been able to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and actually feel part of a supportive community.

Richard Conboy – Teen Fellowship Program Facilitator

As an educator (BA, MA) with nearly a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of serving the JCC community in a wide range of roles, from Camp Counselor and Director of Fun to CIT Coordinator, ECC Assistant, and the previous Social Activities Coordinator. I’ve also proudly supported individuals of all ages and abilities through the Guttenberg Center for Special Services throughout college.

But it’s through my work with teens in the Teen Fellowship Program where I’ve truly found my purpose. Empowering young people to use their voices, embrace their identities, and lead with heart is at the core of everything I do. I strive to create spaces where teens feel seen, heard, and valued, spaces where leadership isn’t just taught, but lived.

My approach is rooted in authenticity, creativity, and integrity, which are the values instilled in me by mentors like Steve Rogers z”l, Shelley Levy, and Mali Oelsner. Their guidance shaped who I am, and I aim to pay that forward by helping the next generation shape a better, stronger future for us all.
