Richard Conboy – Teen Fellowship Program Facilitator

As an educator (BA, MA) with nearly a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of serving the JCC community in a wide range of roles, from Camp Counselor and Director of Fun to CIT Coordinator, ECC Assistant, and the previous Social Activities Coordinator. I’ve also proudly supported individuals of all ages and abilities through the Guttenberg Center for Special Services throughout college.
But it’s through my work with teens in the Teen Fellowship Program where I’ve truly found my purpose. Empowering young people to use their voices, embrace their identities, and lead with heart is at the core of everything I do. I strive to create spaces where teens feel seen, heard, and valued, spaces where leadership isn’t just taught, but lived.
My approach is rooted in authenticity, creativity, and integrity, which are the values instilled in me by mentors like Steve Rogers z”l, Shelley Levy, and Mali Oelsner. Their guidance shaped who I am, and I aim to pay that forward by helping the next generation shape a better, stronger future for us all.
