Leaders For Tomorrow Program
In partnership with AJC New Jersey, Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is excited to offer AJC’s Leaders for Tomorrow (LFT) Program, a premier seven-session leadership experience designed to empower the next generation of Jewish leaders. Through interactive learning and meaningful discussions, eligible 10th-12th grade high school students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to advocate for the Jewish people and Israel while serving as positive change-makers in their schools, communities, and beyond.
LFT graduates enter college prepared to engage thoughtfully in conversations about antisemitism, Israel, and issues affecting the global Jewish community. Participants explore Israeli history and current affairs, learn effective advocacy strategies, build influential networks, and gain practical tools for combating antisemitism. The curriculum is continually adapted to address current events and provides a safe, supportive space for students to discuss challenges they may encounter at school, online, and in their communities.
Running from November through February, the program features seven highly interactive training sessions held on Sunday evenings. Along the way, participants connect with peers, learn from leading experts, and gain access to unique leadership opportunities, including the transformative Susan and Bart Lewis Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., taking place January 31–February 2, 2027.
