Types of Gifts
Your generous gift helps the JCC uphold our shared values and traditions, keeps our community vibrant and growing, and sustains our extensive array of activities and services. All charitable gifts support the JCC’s mission of bringing the community together around our programming and services.
Tributes
Donations can be made to program areas at the JCC and individual endowment funds in honor of a special occasion such as a wedding or anniversary, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, the birth of a child, or in memory of loved ones.
The JCC sends notification cards to recipients and publishes the tributes in our agency newspaper, In The Center. The minimum donation for a tribute card is $18.

Life & Legacy Giving
A Life & Legacy gift is a tax-smart way to ensure our children and grandchildren continue to enjoy a flourishing Jewish community and a vibrant place to celebrate their heritage. Creating an endowed fund here at the J, making a bequest in your will, or establishing a charitable remainder or lead trust are just a few powerful ways to leave a lasting legacy and ensure the Kaplen JCC continues to thrive for generations to come.

The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
