Emma Brondolo
Emma Brondolo is the Artistic Director of the JCC Thurnauer School of Music overseeing curriculum and programs at the Music School. She is also the Artistic Director of the JCC Young People’s Chorus @ Thurnauer. She founded the Young People’s Chorus at Thurnauer, growing it to include multiple choirs throughout Bergen County. Mrs. Brondolo redesigned the annual benefit gala, helping to gross thousands more each year for scholarship; she revitalized the Early Childhood Music program with a new curriculum and staff and expanded the vocal program at Thurnauer. She has served as a festival conductor and clinician for regional choral events and has competed in international choral competitions. Her previous roles include working as a satellite conductor for the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and teaching middle school chorus and general music in Connecticut. Mrs. Brondolo holds a B.M. in music education from the Hartt School of Music and an M.Ed. in special and general education from St. John’s University, with additional training in CME conducting and YPC National workshops, and Kodaly, First Steps in Music, and Musikgarten Pedagogy.
