Gary has over 25 years of financial, accounting, and auditing experience. He began his career as an internal auditor for a bank; then spent five years in public accounting at a CPA firm that specialized in insolvency, forensic accounting and litigation support. In 2000, he went into private accounting as a Controller of a start-up e-commerce company,, a leading e-commerce provider for high-end goods.

Responsible for financial reporting, strengthening our internal controls and streamlining other processes and procedures, as well as a key liaison with staff and upper management. Successfully help develop a finance team that provides confidence to members, donors, creditors, employees, auditors, management and the board.

He later served as the Corporate Controller/Acting CFO for, a dynamic, high profile, publicly-traded company; then Gary served 11 years as the Assistant Controller at Atlantic Express Transportation Corp., the third largest provider of school bus transportation in the United States. In 2015, Gary was named as the Director of Finance of the JCC on the Palisades. Gary received a BBA in accounting from Bernard Baruch College and became a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York in 1998.
