Anna Ashbourne Bruder (she/her) is the JCC’s Teen and Youth Social Worker. Originally from Vancouver, BC, she went to graduate school in New York and graduated from Fordham with her MSW in May 2026. Throughout her MSW Anna worked with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Yachad and with clients at NYP’s Behavioral Health Clinic. She also comes to her role with a passion for educating, having earned an MEd in Jewish Education from JTS in 2022 and having worked as both a synagogue and museum educator.

In her new role, Anna will support the JCC’s camp counselors; work with the teen drama, dance, and music programs; and find new ways to engage teens in community programs. She is thrilled to join the JCC team in a role that allows her to blend her passions: mental health work, education, and building Jewish community.
