Shani Waismel-Stein

With a rich background in HR, Shani knows that people are the heart of any great organization. As the HR Director at the Consulate General and the Economic Mission of Israel, and previously as a Senior In-Flight service manager at an international airline, she’s a pro at keeping teams thriving and ensuring their well-being.

After taking some time off to raise her three wild and wacky kids, Shani’s passion for kindness and community grew even stronger. Armed with a Master’s in Public Administration from Baruch College, she’s all about giving back. 

Now at the Kaplen JCC, Shani is dedicated to creating a fun, inclusive, and supportive workplace where everyone can shine and contribute to the community’s mission.
