Amy has been the Chief Development Officer at the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven for 7 years and has recently completed serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for the past year. Amy was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Spring Valley, NY. Earning a BS in Healthcare Administration from Ithaca College and a MS in Healthcare Management from The New School for Social Research, she had a career in hospital and insurance administration for many years before changing career paths and becoming a Jewish communal professional. In addition to her healthcare career, she served professionally as a JCC Camp Director and a JCC Interim Executive Director for an extended period of time. On three separate occasions, Amy was an Interim Synagogue Administrator. She also held many Jewish lay leadership positions at both JCCs and Synagogues including VP of Fundraising and synagogue President. She has a husband, Mark and 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law and and 2 ½ year old granddaughter.
