Jenna Mate

Jenna Mate is a Director, Composer and Performer with decades of experience in educating artists of all ages.  As the Artistic Director of Dramatic Arts, Jenna Mate drives and supports learning and performance opportunities across all levels at the Kaplen JCC. With an MFA in Directing and a Masters of Educational Theater, Jenna creates objectives for the School of Dramatic Arts as well as directs multiple productions each year. Additionally, she oversees the Community Theater, which produces thought-provoking works for more mature audiences. Jenna has performed and directed professionally all over the country and has worked at theaters such as The John Drew Theater at Guild Hall, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, and Southampton Arts Center. Her original musical, ECO, was featured in the New York Musical Festival, and continues to be developed.
