Alyssa Schiffman

Alyssa oversees the development and marketing offices, leading efforts to engage our members, donors, and community with our mission, values, and culture. Alyssa joined the JCC in 2021 as the Director of Board Engagement and took on leadership of all development activities shortly thereafter.  In her current role, she seeks to build upon the vibrant history of this amazing JCC by creating philanthropic partnerships and increasing programmatic engagement. She strongly believes the work our JCC is doing today will ensure a thriving Jewish community in Bergen County and beyond for generations to come.

Before joining the JCC, Alyssa spent over 15 years working at mission-centered higher education institutions. She resides in Fort Lee with her two cats and is strongly considering adopting a dog.
