About the Instructor: Galit (Gala) Oelsner Artzi
Gala is a visual artist and an art educator whose work spans painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, and photography. She has been an active member of the NYC and NJ art community for many years, with her work exhibited in galleries and exhibitions throughout the area and internationally. Gala has taught art for many years and lectures on art history, including leading art tours at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC
Beyond her artistic career, Gala is deeply committed to teaching and has spent the past years sharing her expertise and insights with others. Through her teaching, she seeks to empower individuals to recognize creativity as a vital element of their well-being and personal development.
She studied at the NY Art Students League, New York Academy of Art, and International Center of Photography (ICP), and holds an MBA from NYIT.
