A Feast for the Senses Where Art and Nature Unite
Join us on a walking tour followed by an exquisite lunch at Ratâs!
Discover the beauty & be inspired by this magnificent park. Nestled in the heart of central NJ, the Grounds for Sculpture offers a 42 acre park with more than 270 sculptures by renowned and emerging contemporary artists, each thoughtfully positioned on meticulously landscaped parkland of exotic trees and flowers. We will also view the latest exhibit Slow Motion (indoors and outdoors). Slow Motion invites visitors to slow down and move in new ways throughout their environments.
The tour will be followed by a gourmet 3 course lunch at the highly rated French restaurant âRatsâ in a chateau-like setting surrounded by a sculpture garden. Ratâs Restaurant is designed to make guests feel like they have stepped back in time to Claude Monetâs beloved town of Giverny with menus featuring superb country French cuisine, Ratâs is a must-see (and must-eat) highlight of any visit to Grounds For Sculpture.
Named for the gregarious character in sculptor and creator Seward Johnsonâs favorite childhood story book, The Wind in the Willows, Ratâs will make you feel like youâve stepped back in time into a cozy and inviting French countryside cafĂ©. Ratâs is a one-of-a-kind experience that will complete your visit to Grounds For Sculpture.
