The Arts, Culture & Travel (ACT) Department of the Kaplen JCC enriches our community by creating shared experiences that inspire connection, curiosity, and belonging. Through engaging programs in the arts, culture, and travel, we offer opportunities for members to explore, learn, and celebrate together—strengthening ties to Jewish life and to one another. Serving as a vital bridge between early childhood and senior involvement, our department invites individuals and families to continue their JCC journey, deepening engagement and fostering lifelong membership through meaningful cultural discovery and community connection.
Registration is required for all ongoing classes. Most classes have minimum and maximum participant requirements, so we encourage you to register early. No refunds for special events or trips. Check out our website for additional offerings and for updated information.

Delve Right In!
“A whole new world opened up for me when I began taking drawing and painting classes. I was newly widowed and needed a new kind of artistic outlet. I found it at the J and so much more. My new circle of art friends is my new Chavurah.”
