What makes a good support group? Feeling heard, valued and validated. Everyone is welcome to join our compassionate support groups to help you improve your coping skills during challenging times.

Widows and Widowers: You Are Not Alone

With Miriam Sloane LSW Therapist
A bereavement group for those recently widowed. This is an opportunity for you to share your feelings with others that understand. Miriam will help you talk about the changes in your family life, social relationships and sense of self. Make friendships that will help you heal.

A support group for parents, whose children (ages 15-25) are dealing with issues of addiction, psychological disorders and/or co-occurring issues. A safe and confidential environment.

Free Family Caregiver Support Groups

The Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups are designed to provide emotional and educational support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. Support groups provide an opportunity for care-partners, families and friends to learn about dementias like Alzheimer’s disease, share their feelings and concerns, and support each other and learn about local resources.
