Ways to Give

You can donate now by using the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades’ secure online donation form. The JCC accepts gifts via MasterCard, Visa, or American Express. You can make a one-time gift or a recurring monthly contribution.

One of the easiest ways to increase your gift to the JCC is through your employer’s matching gift program. You can inquire with your human resources department to learn about your company’s matching gift program.

Donations can be made to program areas at the JCC and individual endowment funds in honor of a special occasion such as a wedding or anniversary, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, the birth of a child, or in memory of loved ones.

The JCC sends notification cards to recipients and publishes the tributes in our agency newspaper, In The Center. The minimum donation for a tribute card is $18.

Endowments are gifts that “keep on giving.” Endowment funds are critical to helping the JCC meet the needs of the community, now and in the future. By creating or adding to an Endowment fund, you can ensure vital JCC programs have stable financial support for generations to come. Only a small amount of your fund’s value is expended each year, so the fund lives on, creating an inspiring Jewish legacy.

Gifts of securities — held by you or by your bank or brokerage — offer significant tax advantages and are easy to make. The JCC requires that gifts of securities be made via electronic transfer, rather than mailing actual securities certificates. Please contact 201.569.7900, ext.607 or development@jccotp.org to inform the JCC of the proposed donation and ensure that you receive a prompt receipt of your gift for your tax records. A grant from your donor-advised fund can make a tremendous difference in our JCC community. If you have a donor-advised fund, please contact your financial institution or foundation or call your fund manager to recommend us for a grant. We ask that you please contact 201.569.7900, ext. 607 or development@jccotp.org to inform us of your gift so we can thank you for your generosity.

A planned gift is a tax-smart way that helps to ensure that our children and grandchildren will enjoy a flourishing Jewish community and a place to celebrate their heritage and traditions. Charitable gift annuities, remainder trusts, gifts of securities, and bequests can be made to the JCC. The funds are managed through third-party financial advisors.
