Fran joined the Development Department in 2013 working on major fundraising events. As a Special Events Associate, Fran works closely with Development staff and committee members to coordinate everything that goes into a successful event such as sponsors, location, catering, auctions, volunteers and more. She works closely with staff from the JCC’s Accounting, Marketing, Early Childhood and Senior departments for gift processing, communications and planning event tactics. She also manages the JCC’s liquor and raffle licenses and coordinates with local police on requirements concerning the Rubin Run.

The financial success of special events, even during this year of the corona virus has helped provide continued support to the many individuals and families who need our support.

Prior to joining the JCC, she worked for Jewish non-profit organizations as a corporate trainer and education department assistant. As a long-time volunteer serving on her synagogue board, education co-chair and school PTA’s, working for the mission of the JCC is especially meaningful and rewarding to her.
