Our model continues to be a combination of virtual lessons, occasional in-person lessons and classes, as well as hybrid options. We are following the safety guidelines as set by the CDC and local agencies, as well as parent requests and comfort level. For information on returning to our campus, please visit jccotp.org/faqs. We look forward to having you join us on this musical journey!
Ages 3-12 months
(Children up to 16 months are welcome if the time is more convenient for your family.)
Designed for babies, parents and caregivers, each class features bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games, a dance party, and other fun activities. Continue the music party at home with a superb CD recorded by a fine children’s choir and outstanding instrumentalists. Guidebooks, rhythm sticks, a Musikgarten® rattle, and a colorful scarf will give your child hours of enjoyment. Price includes a non-refundable materials fee of $35.
Musikgarten’s® Music for Babies will:
• Increase your baby’s curiosity about music
• Develop listening skills and a sense of beat
• Establish a foundation for singing and musical thought
• Give you and your baby a chance to interact with other babies, parents and caregivers
Our classes are designed to encourage joy, fun, and active participation and play with a parent or caregiver through music, both Jewish and secular! Through singing games, fingerplays, poetry, rhythmic exploration, and movement, we help children find their singing voices, learn to keep the beat, and develop their imagination and creativity.
