The Magic of Emek: Where Learning Hebrew Comes to Life!

At Emek, we believe learning should be exciting, enriching, and full of connection! Our mission is to create a warm and supportive environment where students feel challenged yet comfortable, encouraged to grow, and inspired to explore the Hebrew language and Israeli culture.

What you’ll find at Emek:

• Programs for children ages 3 through middle school, as well as Hebrew Ulpan and conversation courses for adults
• Small, age- and level-appropriate classes that encourage meaningful discussion, friendships, and personalized learning
• A carefully developed, innovative curriculum for each age group — updated annually and enriched with materials approved by Israel’s Ministry of Education
• A skilled, creative, and experienced teaching team, supported by local youth who assist students and gain meaningful educational experience
• Access to JCC facilities during class time — including spacious classrooms, a café, and comfortable lounge areas for parents
• Ongoing educational leadership and support from Emek’s Director of Education, Ofir Salomon, together with the Israeli Center team — offering personal connection with families and constant renewal of our learning content
• 32 sessions per year
• Special community events that complement and enrich the learning program
• Regular communication with parents: WhatsApp groups with updates and photos from every session, weekly summaries, homework, and mid-year check-ins to follow each child’s progress

At Emek, we learn Hebrew, experience Israel, and build a rich Israeli-Jewish-American identity that embraces every part of our lives.
