Heart to Heart in the Afternoon

Ages5-15

Our program offers homework help, nutritious snacks, and enriching activities to recently arrived Israeli children. Volunteers create a safe and supportive environment, fostering academic success and personal growth. Join us in making a difference in these children's lives.

Heart to Heart in the Afternoon

Heart to Heart is an after-school program that welcomes newly arrived Israeli children and their families with warmth, meaningful connections, and a gentle landing in a new environment. Together, teen and adult volunteers create a nurturing space filled with learning, laughter, and friendship, helping children build confidence and feel at home in a new place.

Our Daily Happenings:

Monday & Wednesday
3:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Ages: 5-15
3:30 pm – 4:45 pm – Homework Help
4:45 pm – 6:00 pm – Fun Activity Involvement

Free to the Community
For the many Israeli families who have escaped and continue escaping the war.

Interested in Volunteering?

The program takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Volunteer Time Slots
Volunteers can choose from two shifts:

  • 3:30–4:45 PM
  • 4:40–6:15 PM

Children’s Program Times
Registered participants attend during the following times:

  • Mondays & Wednesdays:
    • 3:45–4:45 PM
    • 4:40–6:00 PM
