Curaçao ‘s Jewish history is a testament to the island’s diverse cultural heritage. The Jewish community began in 1634 with a rich history that includes migration from Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands. The Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue is the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the Americas.
