From complex family bonds to intimate friendships and the mysteries of marriage\, these courageous storytellers reveal how life’s connections shape who we become. \n\n\n\nOur most high-profile line up yet. \n\n\n\n\nMolly Jong-Fast – How to Lose Your Mother: A Daughter’s Memoir \n\n\n\nElyce Arons – We Might Just Make It After All: My Best Friendship with Kate Spade \n\n\n\nBelle Burden – Strangers: A Memoir of a Marriage \n\n\n\n\n2026 Authors \n\n\n\nMolly Jong-FastHow to Lose Your Mother: A Daughter’s Memoir Contributing writer at Vanity Fair and political analyst at MSNBC\, Molly Jong-Fast shares her memoir about growing up as the daughter of Erica Jong\, author of the groundbreaking feminist novel Fear of Flying. Molly’s story depicts an intense mother-daughter relationship and a chaotic upbringing with a fame-hungry parent\, told with both humor and raw honesty.  \n\n\n\nElyce AronsWe Might Just Make It After All: My Best Friendship with Kate Spade Co-founder of Kate Spade and Frances Valentine\, Elyce Arons sets her memoir against the glitzy and gritty backdrop of 1990s downtown New York. We Might Just Make It After All lovingly and candidly explores her friendship with Kate Spade—a bond as close as sisterhood—the challenges facing women entrepreneurs\, and the timeless elegance of a generation-defining brand.  \n\n\n\nBelle BurdenStrangers: A Memoir of a Marriage In Strangers\, Burden revisits her marriage\, searching for clues that her husband was not who she always thought he was. SUMMARY:3rd GEN: A Survivor’s Story
DESCRIPTION:Switch to HebrewSwitch to English\n\n \n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\n\n3rd GEN Project transforms personal stories and historical memory into living art through original music\, choreography\, and storytelling. By bridging generations\, the project ensures that voices of survival are not only remembered but felt. Memory through Art. \n\n\n\nThis powerful dance memoir brings to life true stories of strength\, fear\, and heroism in the shadow of the Holocaust. Through original music\, movement\, and video testimonials from Yad Vashem\, the work honors resilience\, survival\, and the rebuilding of hope. \n\n\n\nThe performance marks the first presentation in an ongoing artistic initiative dedicated to commemorating Holocaust survival stories through staged art. Each piece is rooted in real events\, shaped directly by survivor testimony\, and enriched with personal interviews and archival recordings\, placing a human face and voice at the center of history. \n\n\n\nThis particular work is inspired by choreographer Shany’s grandparents and their lived experiences as Holocaust survivors. \n\n\n\n3rd GEN Project was originally developed and presented in November 2023 at the SPARK Emerging Artists Festival in New York City.
