It is a day marked by profound reverence and solemnity\, we will come together as a community to honor those lives lost.   \n\n\n\nAfter the service\, the community is invited to stay for an evening of singing in remembrance. \n\n\n\nFree and open to the community\, but requires advance registration. \n\n\n\nFor security reasons\, entry will not be permitted without a ticket. \n\n\n\nNo weapons or bags will be permitted. \n\n\n\nPlease register for this event by April 15. \n\n\n\nLimited seats are available. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:00 PM. Talkback with Q&A after the screening. \n\n\n\nThursday\, 4/30  Doors Open: 6:30 PM   Screening Begins: 7:00 PM   Event will take place in Taub Auditorium \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n\nהקרנת הסרט “Looking Up” ושיחה לאחר הסרט\n\n\n\nמוצג בשיתוף עם המרכז הישראלי \n\n\n\nהסרט המרגש הזה עוקב אחר סיפורו של איתן ארמון\, צעיר המתמודד עם האתגר העמוק של אובדן ראייה. \n\n\n\nבגיל 20 בלבד\, במהלך שירותו הצבאי\, מגלה איתן כי הוא חולה במחלה הגנטית הנדירה רטיניטיס פיגמנטוזה\, הגורמת לאובדן ראייה הדרגתי. עם כ־5% מראייתו המרכזית שנותרה\, וכאשר הזמן הולך ואוזל\, בוחר איתן שלא להתמקד במה שאינו בשליטתו\, אלא להציב לעצמו אתגר קיצוני של כוח רצון והתמודדות: טיפוס על צוק אל קפיטן המפורסם בפארק יוסימיטי\, אחד מקירות הגרניט המרשימים והקשים ביותר בעולם. \n\n\n\nבאמצעות נחישות\, אומץ ורוח בלתי מתפשרת\, Looking Up מתעד את מסעו המדהים של איתן ומעניק מסר עוצמתי של חוסן\, תעוזה ותקווה ותזכורת לכך שאין מכשול שאי אפשר להתגבר עליו כשמציבים מטרה וחדורים באמונה. \n\n\n\nאירוע בכורה מיוחד זה בקפלן JCC יתקיים בנוכחות הבמאית אלנה נוימן\, גיבור הסרט איתן ארמון\, והאורח המיוחד רוברט היידנברג. לאחר ההקרנה תתקיים שיחה עם פאנל ושאלות מהקהל. \n\n\n\nיום חמישי\, 30 לאפריל \n\n\n\nפתיחת דלתות: 6:30 PM \n\n\n\nתחילת ההקרנה: 7:00 PM \n\n\n\nהאירוע יתקיים באנגלית ב ־Taub Auditorium \n\n\n\n\n\n			\n		\n	\n\n\n\n\nModerated by Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner \n\n\n\nThis event is free to attend\, thanks to the generous support of Susan & Robert Heidenberg. \n\n\n	\n			Register Here\n		Watch the Trailer
