The Wings of Hope project invites the community to recycle old toys by transforming them into beautiful\, colorful wooden wings. \n\n\n\nWhat is “Wings of Hope”?\n\n\n\nThe original ‘Wings of Hope’ was created in July 2023 by Livnat Kutz Z”L and members of Kibbutz Kfar Aza\, located in southern Israel. \n\n\n\nThe exhibit is a piece of artwork made from old plastic toys collected by the community. These toys were assembled into wings on the wall of a shelter in Kfar Aza\, symbolizing the values of sustainability\, creativity\, and a sense of optimistic community belonging—values that Livnat Z”L and her special family embodied. Tragically\, they were brutally murdered in their home by Hamas during the October 7th attack. \n\n\n\n​In our vision\, ‘Wings of Hope’ will be replicated throughout Israel and around the world\, commemorating Livnat’s deep dedication to community and resilience\, ensuring her memory lives on. \n\n\n\n​These magnificent wings serve as a gathering place for creation\, arts and crafts\, and as a testament to a connected community. They shine a light that reaches beyond the borders of the kibbutz and Israel. \n\n\n\n​Together\, we can spark a new movement of creativity\, art\, and community\, one that will impact future generations and keep the memory of the late Livnat Kutz alive in the hearts of both the Israeli and international art communities.
