By sharing her experience\, Moran seeks to inspire others and find healing through community support. Join us in standing with Moran as she recounts her journey from captivity to resilience. Together\, we can uplift her spirit and draw strength from her unyielding determination to overcome adversity. \n\n\n\nMoran has said that she is speaking out because it feels like a duty to speak for those who are still held hostage.  \n\n\n\nAll proceeds go to support Moran’s recovery and the Hostages and Missing Families Forum. \n\n\n\nThe event will be presented in English. Ticket capacity is limited and must be purchased in advance.  There will be no walk-in ticket sales.

DESCRIPTION:Taking Action: Responding to the Rise in Antisemitism\n\n\n\nJoin us for a vital and impactful conversation with national leaders about the path forward for the Jewish People. \n\n\n\nPanelists:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJosh Gottheimer represents New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District in the northern part of the state\, which includes parts of Bergen\, Passaic\, and Sussex counties. In Congress\, Josh serves on two Committees\, including the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence\, where he is the Ranking Member of the National Security Agency and Cyber Subcommittee\, and is a member of the National Intelligence Enterprise Subcommittee. Josh also serves on the House Financial Services Committee\, where he is a member of the Subcommittee on National Security\, Illicit Finance\, and International Financial Institutions\, the Subcommittee on Digital Assets\, Financial Technology and Inclusion\, and the Subcommittee on Capital Markets.Josh serves as Co-Chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus\, where he promotes commonsense over extremism\, and works across party lines on key issues\, including lowering taxes\, protecting our environment\, making healthcare more affordable\, protecting America’s national security\, and improving infrastructure to help the American people.Josh is also a member of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee\, the Blue Dog Coalition\, and the New Democrat Coalition. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMike Lawler proudly represents New York’s 17th Congressional District which includes Rockland County\, Putnam County and portions of Westchester and Dutchess counties. Prior to serving in the U.S. House of Representatives\, Congressman Mike Lawler represented New York’s 97th District in the State Assembly where he served on the Committees on Aging\, Banks\, Education\, Housing\, and as the Ranking Member on Governmental Operations. \n\n\n\nIn the State Assembly\, Mike passed more bills than any other member of his conference\, a testament to his bipartisan\, pragmatic approach to government. In just one term\, he was able to successfully pass legislation that included additional funding for law enforcement and first responders\, tax relief for middle class families\, and historic funding increases for our schools in the Hudson Valley. \n\n\n\nIn Congress\, Mike Lawler serves on the House Financial Services Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee. He also serves on nearly 50 congressional caucuses\, including as Co-Chair of the Anti-Congestion Tax Caucus\, Appalachian National Scenic Trails Caucus\, and the Moldova Caucus. He also serves on the bipartisan SALT Caucus and the Problem Solvers Caucus. \n\n\n\nMike is a lifelong Hudson Valley resident. He grew up in Rockland County and graduated from Suffern High School. Mike lives in Pearl River with his wife\, Doina\, and their daughter Julianna. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRachel Fish co-founded the nonprofit Boundless\, a think-action tank partnering with community leaders across North America to revitalize Israel education and take bold collective action to combat Jew-hatred. Dr. Fish also serves as Special Advisor to The Brandeis University Presidential Initiative to Counter Antisemitism in Higher Education. She is also an associate research professor at the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies. In addition\, Dr. Fish teaches Israeli history and society at The George Washington University as Visiting Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development.Previously\, Dr. Fish was the executive director of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism. Rachel also served as Senior Advisor and Resident Scholar at the Paul E. Singer Foundation in New York City and Executive Director of the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies\, where she trained the next generation of academics in the fi eld of Israel Studies.Her dissertation\, “Configurations of Bi-nationalism: The Transformation of Bi-nationalism and Palestine/Israel 1920’s-Present\,” examines the history of bi-nationalism and alternative visions for constructing the State of Israel. She has served on the faculty at Brandeis University\, The George Washington University\, and Harvard University\, has written articles for several publications in the mainstream press and academic journals\, and co-edited the book “Essential Israel: Essays for the 21st Century.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJonathan Greenblatt is CEO of ADL (the Anti-Defamation League)\, the world’s leading anti-hate organization with a distinguished record of fighting antisemitism and advocating for just and fair treatment to all. Jonathan joined ADL in 2015 after serving in the White House as special assistant to President Obama and director of the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation. He joined the government after a distinguished career in business as a successful social entrepreneur and corporate executive: he cofounded Ethos Brands\, the company that launched Ethos Water (acquired by Starbucks\, 2005)\, founded All for Good (acquired by Points of Light\, 2011)\, and served as a senior executive at realtor.com (acquired by News Corp\, 2014). \n\n\n\nSince becoming CEO\, Jonathan has modernized ADL while refocusing it on the mission it has had since its founding in 1913: to fight the defamation of the Jewish people\, and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.
