Free Introductory Meeting:
Are you a woman in your 60s or 70s? These healthy years of aging are full of potential for learning, growth and forming new friendships. Meet our group facilitators, Mona Fishbane and Toby Glick, and learn more about the Wise Aging program and how it can help you cultivate joy and resilience, especially important during these challenging times. Reservations required. A zoom invite will be sent prior to the event.
The “Wise Aging” program, based on the book Wise Aging written by Rachel Cowan and Linda Thal, is designed to help us find new joy in life and grow in wisdom, resilience and spirit. To achieve our goals, we will use the techniques of reflective discussions, Jewish text study, journaling, and mindfulness practice. This online program offers social, emotional and spiritual insights to help you achieve a fulfilling and active older age – one that recognizes the opportunities of growing older as well as the challenges. Topics include: relationships with adult children and spouses, cultivating well-being, developing nourishing friendships, forgiveness and reconciliation, living with loss and creating a legacy.
