Fun Fiction

Read for pleasure and then share. Join us to chat casually about books. Everyone is encouraged to participate.

Discussion will be lightly facilitated by Kathy Graff. Attendees should read the book in advance of the meeting. We will chose books that are fun to read--well-written and not too dense.

The selection for June is The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin.

Step out of your own world for a little, and journey with us into the lives of literary characters.

Register here and we will send you a Zoom link to the online meeting.

Virtual Art Tour with Ronnit Vasserman

A whirlwind tour through the work of Madame d'Ora, one of the 20th century's leading fashion and portrait photographers.
This lecture charts Dora Kallmus's spectacular career as one of the first woman to open up a photography studio in Vienna, to her work following WWII. She turned her lens from portraits of high society to people in displaced person camps. We will see her exceptional ability to capture both the essence of beauty and the pathos of death and suffering.

Join us via Zoom. We will email you a link to the event prior to the program.
