The Chuck Guttenberg Center For The Physically Challenged
The Guttenberg Center for Special Services was established by Adele and Bill Guttenberg (of blessed memory) in 1997. For more than a decade, this endowment has enabled the JCC to establish vital programs and services for individuals with special needs. The Center is dedicated to the belief that all individuals are entitled to participate in appropriate social, recreational, cultural and educational experiences whenever possible in natural community settings with appropriate supports. Programs are designed to meet the wide range of specific needs of our participants. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment and community, allowing each individual the opportunity to reach his or her own potential.
Most Special Services programs are open to both those with and without physical challenges, and should be discussed at the participant's initial intake.
