College Scholarship Fund - Applications due May 15, 2014
This countywide fund offers annual, competitive grants to needy, well-deserving college-bound Jewish students in Bergen County, including students with special needs. Open to undergraduates who wish to attend a 4-year college in the United States or Israel. Students must possess a demonstrated financial need and be in good academic standing. Grants are not renewable but students may apply each year. Applications (an original and four copies) should be mailed directly to the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, Attn: Michele Schaffer. Israel Scholarships- Due March 3, 2014
Planning to travel to Israel during the summer or participate in the March of the Living? Scholarships are based on leadership potential, the desire to travel, and the ability to return to the community as a youth leader. Participants must be in 9th to 11th grade currently.These awards are provided through the endowment funds of Morton and Betty Steinberg, the Rubin Family and the Samuel Warshauer Israel Program Scholarships.
