Celebrating its 15th season!
This camp brings together talented young musicians and an acclaimed faculty of artists and educators to experience the joys of ensemble playing in an atmosphere of success and enjoyment. The camp accepts a select group of string players and pianists based on auditions, interviews and recommendations. . Chamber Music Camp is ALL-INCLUSIVE, providing lunch, snacks and towel service.
Students practice daily in groups of three to five players, coached by faculty who help each group with the unique technical and musical challenges of playing chamber music: communicating with others, accepting responsibility, and working toward a common goal.
Students swim each day at 2 pm. Please bring a swimsuit and sunscreen. We provide towel service. If the weather does not permit swimming, other recreation will be planned.

Zoran Jakovcic, founding director of the Thurnauer Chamber Music Camp, has performed internationally and has held residences at Juilliard, Yale, Rutgers, the University of Iowa, Interlochen, Meadowmount, Banff, and Aspen as a member of the Essex and Maia quartets.
Inna Berkhin is a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, as well as a former member of the Moscow Chamber Orchestra and Moscow Philharmonic.
Steven Masi has concertized extensively throughout North America, Europe and Asia. As a recitalist and chamber musician he has appeared at the Casals Festival and has been guest soloist with The Atlanta Symphony.
Anton Jakovcic has won numerous prizes for both his solo and chamber music performances
and currently holds a Masters of Music in Viola Performance. He has been a part of the Thurnauer Chamber Music Camp since its inception 15 years ago both as a student and as faculty.
