Hazon CSA - Community Supported Agriculture at the JCC
The JCC is proud to be a part of the Hazon CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program as a step towards meeting several goals of our mission including - but not limited to - deepening Jewish identity and nuturing commitment to Jewish values and lifelong learning for the purpose of ensuring Jewish continuity and the enrichment of Jewish life; enhancing the mind, body and spirit; helping to strengthen family bonds.

We are starting our fifth season (spring/summer/fall 2013), and are proud to continue sharing another high level Jewish  program in our community. One of the most wonderful elements of our Hazon CSA program at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is that clients in our Special Services programs gain life skills by their weekly participation in preparing the distribution of the shares.

Call 201-408-1426 for information about purchasing shares of locally grown produce, acquiring new healthy recipes and learning how healthy eating is an important part of Jewish life! To learn more about Hazon and CSA please visit: http://www.hazon.org/programs/csa/vision-impact/
