My Favorite Choral Works

Explore some of the great choral works including selections from Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Faure, Rachmaninoff, Vaughn-Williams, and John Adams. No background necessary - just a passion for music and a desire to learn.  Michael Reingold, Assistant Director of the JCC Thurnauer School of Music will be your guide.  Michael is a French Hornist with degrees from Stanford and SUNY Stony Brook and has been performing with orchestras since he was 10 years old.  He has taught the popular series,  My Favorite Composers  at the JCC for 8 years, for which he was praised for his musical knowledge and enthusiasm. Classes are appropriate for both the novice and experienced music lover and feature audio and video recordings.  Class size is limited, so sign up soon.
