The Chuck Guttenberg Center For The Physically Challenged

The Chuck Guttenberg Center for the Physically Challenged Endowment Fund
The Guttenberg Center was established by Adele and Bill Guttenberg (of blessed memory) in loving memory of their son, Chuck, in 1997. This endowment fund has been set aside to establish programs and services throughout the JCC for individuals with physical challenges. This endowment has also helped the JCC become totally barrier free by installing a ramp at the Eric Brown Theatre, as well as electronic doors at all three main entrances and several sidewalk cuts. Several programs throughout the Special Services and Wellness Centers are underwritten by The Chuck Guttenberg Center for the Physically Challenged Endowment Fund, and are indicated by the handicapped accessible symbol. Most Special Services programs are open to both those with and without physical challenges, and should be discussed at the participant's initial intake.
